Goooood morning from the US! ☀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ For the first time since I can remember, I clicked snooze on my alarm and slept in! The 9 hours of driving, dinner party, and after dinner party had me WIPED. But hey!! A day that leaves you wiped means a day filled with growth and pushing your limits ☺️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So today, I woke up, a little later than usual 🌝 and went to the gym... a full windowed room right across from the breakfast area! Hehe at that point, you go in, get in the zone, get a good sweat on, have fun, and laugh. Especially when you trip over the garbage can on your way out😂 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’ve posted some groceries from this morning’s 15 Minute speed shop on my story! The rest of the day involves getting a little too excited during the Germany soccer game today, going to a formal evening and then performing with my dance group tonight. Sometimes stepping completely away from home and going somewhere new reminds us that the purpose of life is to have fun and be kind wherever we go. So go out today, have fun, and be kind!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ps. You’re all awesome. For real I have so much gratitude for your loving vibes- I feel them anywhere I go and that is so incredible ☺️ thanks for being you!!
It’s a blessing when you find something that you’d wake up at 3 in the morning for. 🌝 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What’s that something for you?? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Today I woke up at 3, enjoyed each bite of breakfast, did some intention setting, and got a great sweat in before my dance group ventures to the US this morning! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Why on earth would I ever wake up at 3 to gym and be so happy about it?! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I’m happy for no reason at all except that every moment is something to enjoy. I love pushing my body and getting uncomfortable. I love tapping my toes to some jamming tunes as I focus on the present moment and what I’m going to do in the day. Most of all, I love smiling and being grateful for a body eager to be stronger and more capable. Aiming for a ninja who can do the splits. ONE DAY!! 😎 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ AAAND I am also happy because I can possibly - probably - moooost likely - get in a nap on the bus 😄 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ US GROCERIES: I’m coming for ya!!! 😎 US friends: what are some of your fave food products? Reaching for my goals like... 🤪 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ First, I have such LOLs at this picture. My brother was such a good sport - I thought it would be EPIC if we could get it right 😄 Aaaaand this was the best try. After probably 20 attempts. #win ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Anywho!! Busting out that bathing suit because it’s the first day of summer... BUT it’s also the perfect day for something grand to happen! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And one of those grand things is going to be YOU manifesting a phenomenal rest of the year! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1️⃣ RE-FOCUS ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨How are your January goals going? Reflect on the FEELING that you are looking for rather than limiting yourself to one outcome! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨Write them on paper and make them real. Don’t let them float around as possibilities - begin to manifest that reality by WRITING IT DOWN! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2️⃣ RESPECT: ONLY SAY NICE THINGS. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨About you, about others. We become what we believe. Well guys. 10/10 would not recommend pistol squats at THE END of your leg day. (Or, if you like a challenge, 10/10 WOULD recommend 😄) The number of takes it took to get this video with shaky post leg day baby Bambi limbs gave me a pretty grand workout alone! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You can practice these progressions at home - perfect one exercise (Be able to do 5 in a row) before moving on to the next, and badda boom, badda bing! You have yourself a pistol squat! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Tag someone to learn your pistol squat with… goals with friends are FUN 👯♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1️⃣ 2 legged squat with bum to heels, return to standing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2️⃣ 2 legged squat, lift and straighten one leg at bottom of the range of motion, return foot to floor and stand with both legs. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3️⃣ 2 legged squat, lift and straighten one leg at bottom of the range of motion, maintain this as you stand with online foot on the ground. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 4️⃣ One legged squat, hold, return to standing on one foot (Pistol Squat)
Every morning on my way to the gym, I drive past my first job: THE LOCAL ICE CREAM PARLOUR! 🍦 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And every time, I grimace at how I got tendonitis after 2 months straight of scooping… and then had to quit. LOL ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Anywho! While I was working, I remember some customers making choices which were thought to be healthiest. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “Sorbet or Dairy??” They would ask each other. “Is dairy bad? If I do go with dairy, which option is the least calorie-dense?!?!!” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ “AND OMG THE CONE! WHICH COOOONE??” 😱 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So!! Hey hey!! THIS. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This circuit has me feeling all the Insanity DVD feels!! I did that DVD series every day for a year…. The love for mini full body circuits is real 😎 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This one in particular works the abs, shoulders, and chest: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨8-12 low plank knee to elbow touches (Obliques) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨Hand step up to high plank (Chest, triceps, shoulders) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ✨8-12 mountain climbers with shoulders over wrists (Abdominis rectus: The “6 pack”portion of the ab muscles) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I hope your weeks are off to STELLAR starts! Mine is crazy but have a few hours this evening to have a “get back to YouTube!!” party! Are there any topics/ recipes you’d like to see videos of?
