When homemade sweet potato fries turn out hard and uncooked but completely burnt on the outside. Never again!
Try these simple steps to crispy and soft sweet potato fries every time!
- Line a baking sheet with parchment
- Preheat oven to 320
- Use a spray bottle to evenly distribute olive oil (this is safe until its smoke point at 400 degrees).
- Bake for 20 minutes, then shuffle. Bake for another 20 minutes.
- Taste test, of course!
Some of my favourite ways to eat sweet potato fries are by dipping them into a soft boiled or poached egg, as a side of hash browns to an egg white omelet, or covered in ground turkey, guac, salsa, lime and cilantro… Loaded sweet potato nachos!
