Did you know…

… The oil in peppermint leaves can actually energize the body and mind; and
…Lemon has detoxifying properties which can help flush the digestive system!

 

YES! It’s true! I opted for this instead of a second coffee in the afternoon and felt awake and energized- I think this will become a daily ritual!

 

Truth be told, I made this with the purpose of taste and thirst quenching ability whilst I paced around my backyard practicing a presentation on a hot day. The health benefits are a bonus!

Well… our mint leaves from our garden also HAD to be used. You know how it is once fresh herbs are picked- they’re only fresh for so long!

This recipe takes about 30 seconds to blend together and is a treat for your body and mind… and taste buds!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 dropper full stevia (Also tastes good without if sweetener is not for you!)

 

Method

  1. Prep a jar or glass with a straw and a few cubes of ice in the bottom.
  2. Blend all ingredients and strain through a sieve into the jar.
  3. Sip away and smile at the sun!
