A COMPREHENSIVE PROATMEAL FLAVOUR COMBO GUIDE

I LOVE protein oats. Using whey powder as a lean protein source mixed with a slower digesting carb (Oatmeal) as a pre-workout meal will keep you satiated and full of energy for the duration of your exercise!

I eat proats for breakfast every day, because they are my go-to for fuelling my efforts in the gym.

There are endless ways to enjoy Proats… They don’t need to be just a scoop of whey mixed with oatmeal! With a few tweaks, you can transform your breakfast proats into a full-blown indulgent dessert!

For all of the below, I would recommend soaking your oats (I use 1/2 cup dry) in water the night before preparation, and then gradually adding cashew milk while cooking. This makes them super creamy!

CARROT CAKE
• Oats
• Vanilla Whey Powder
• 1/2 cup shredded carrots
• 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
• Cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, cloves, ginger
• Chopped walnuts

CINNAMON ROLL
• Oats
• Vanilla Whey Powder
• Cinnamon
• Pinch salt
Cream Cheese Frosting
• 1 tbsp low fat cream cheese
• Sweetener of choice (I use 1 tsp Splenda)
• 1 tsp cashew milk

PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE
• Oats
• Chocolate Whey Powder
• 2 tbsp Powdered Peanut Butter (mix into oats)
• 1 tbsp baking cocoa powder
• All natural PB to top
• Pinch coarse Sea salt

PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY
• Oats
• Vanilla Whey Powder
• 2 tbsp Powdered Peanut Butter (mix into oats)
Raspberry Compote (Heat, combine, reduce down to a compote, and strain through a sieve)
• 1/3 cup fresh raspberries
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• 1 tsp honey or sweetener of choice

PUMPKIN PIE CHOCOLATE CHIP
• Oats
• Vanilla Whey Powder
• 1 tbsp chocolate chips (I use sugar free)
• 1/4 cup canned pumpkin puree (Look for 100% pumpkin)
• Cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, cloves, ginger
• 1 tbsp chopped, toasted pecans
• 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract

DOUBLE MOCHA CHOCOLATE
• Oats cooked in black coffee (Yes! Try it!!)
• Vanilla Whey Powder
• 1 tbsp baking cocoa
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• Top with light whipped cream and dark chocolate shavings

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH
• Oats
• Vanilla Whey Powder
• 1/2 tsp each Vanilla and rum extract
• 1 tbsp chocolate chips
• 1/4 cup greek yogurt

BIRTHDAY CAKE
• Oats
• Vanilla or Birthday Cake Whey Powder
• 1/2 tsp Rum Extract
• 1 tbsp sugar free vanilla or butterscotch dry pudding mix
• Rainbow Sprinkles
