Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Blizzard Protein Shake

This is a super tasty, super speedy way to start your day! Throw all the ingredients into a blender and enjoy a healthy blizzard for breakfast. 🙂

Protein has the highest thermic effect of food (TEF) of the three macronutrients, which means that your body actually uses 20-35% of the energy contained in the protein as calories just to digest and absorb it!

So, consuming more of your calories from protein can actually aid in your efforts to change your body composition (if that’s your goal)!

My lady friends! A huge misconception about protein for girls is that it will cause you to look bulky or overly muscular- but because we only have a sliver of the testosterone that men do to build such large amounts of muscle, it’s just not going to happen!

For us ladies, consuming enough protein and doing strength training is the foundation of building strong, muscular curves which will in turn increase your metabolism. Don’t fear the protein girls! It’s literally our best friend 💪🏼

This is a go-to recipe of mine (As a kid, the Ice Cream order of choice was cookie dough; ONE HUNDRED PERCENT) and is brother approved!
